COMBO MAT 2415 Description: This material consists of 1.5 ounce per square foot Chop Strand Mat stitched together with 24oz per square yard Woven Roving. This stitched process minimizes the binder content insuring fast wet out and ease of handling. This combination is used for quick laminate build-up and high strength. It is an excelent way to save time and cut cost on any project. One result of the combination of materials is the more efficient use of resin due to fewer voids between fibers where resin can pool. 2415 is ideal for hand lay up and boat building and repair. Compatibility with Polyester, Vinyl Ester, Epoxy resin systems.
