Kevlar 49 Style 352 x 50" wide 5.1oz Plain Weave. Kevlar® 49 composite fabrics provide the ideal balance of strength, stiffness and light weight properties for many marine, automotive, construction and general purpose applications. Hulls reinforced with Kevlar® are lighter yet tougher, more damage tolerant, and perform better. Kevlar® 49 fabric is great for canoes, kayaks and racing shells where maximum strength and minimal weight are critical. Kevlar® is also far superior to fiberglass where Impact, tear and penetration resistance is needed. This Kevlar® is designed for laminating with resins and is not bullet resistant.
