This is a Compact Air Powered hand held chopper gun with low air consumption 3.5 CFM 80 psi. This gun is perfect for both small and large jobs. Has variable speed trigger for controlling glass fiber output. This Air chopper can chop from 1/4" to 3" long strands simply by adding or subtracting blades. Safe and easy to operate, this chopper is also an excellent tool for field repairs. ----- Use this Hand Held variable speed air powered chopper gun for coating molds or parts with glass reinforcement. Works great with our Gun Roving Item: GR-PPG-6313 How It Works: Continuous glass roving is fed into the rear of the gun. The gun then chops the roving into short pieces and deposits them onto a pre-resin wet mold. Resin is then applied again by brush, roller or sprayed on using resin spray gun. The length of the fibers can be varied from 1/4" to 3". This gun will deposit the equivalent of one layer of 1 oz mat onto a vertical surface without fall-off before wet-out. Ideally suited to quick mold or part build-up once the first layer or two are in place. Use one of our laminating rollers to remove trapped air. Ultimate control comes down to the person using the chopper gun and results will vary. Item: CDA-08
