Partall® Hi-Temp Wax is a specially formulated paste wax mold release agent produced by combining hydrocarbon and microcrystalline waxes with Teflon®. Recommended for use with epoxy, phenolic, polyester and vinylester or other resins that cure and/or catalyze at higher temperatures, up to 350°F (~177°C), and in applications where silicone-based waxes hinder post-finishing operations. Partall® Hi-Temp Wax may also be used as a premium multiple release paste wax release with polyester and vinylester resin systems. Partall® Hi-Temp Wax is available in 12 oz. net wt. premium seamless metal cans (providing longer shelf life by minimizing solvent evaporation)General Information Partall Hi-Temp Wax is a wax polishing compound made from a blend of hydrocarbon and microcrystalline waxes and polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon). It is recommended as a release agent in high temperature processes up to 350º°F (~177º C)where standard silicone waxes hinder postfinishing operations. Partall Hi-Temp Wax is particularly suitable for use with epoxies or other resins that cure and/or catalyze at high temperature i.e., 150º°F (~166º C)or greater and is compatible with most thermoset resins and substrate materials. It is recommended that PVA such as Partall Coverall Film be used in conjunction with Partall Hi-Temp Wax to achieve adequate protection on molds that are particularly intricate or too expensive to risk demolding problems.
